This Privacy Policy describes how ClarionTech Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the CleanNow mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

CleanNow is designed to operate primarily on your device. The App may access:

  • Photo and video library: required to scan, group duplicates, compress and clean media. Media files are processed locally and never uploaded to our servers.
  • Mailbox metadata (Email Cleaner): sender, subject and timestamps used to group promotional mail. Message bodies are not stored.
  • Diagnostic data: anonymous crash logs and aggregated performance metrics to improve stability.
  • Purchase information: handled exclusively by Apple's App Store. We never receive your payment details.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide the core cleanup, compression and vault features.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and improve the App.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid requests.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share strictly necessary data with:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. crash analytics) under confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities, when required by applicable law.

4. Data Retention

Media processed by CleanNow remains exclusively on your device. Diagnostic data is retained for up to 12 months and then anonymized or deleted.

5. Children's Privacy

CleanNow is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA), you may request access to, correction, deletion or portability of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time by writing to [email protected].

7. Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. International Transfers

If diagnostic data is transferred outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified inside the App or on this page.
